Manchester United’s Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana has suffered an injury during pre-season training, according to Euro-football.ru.
Local outlet The Telegraph reports that the 29-year-old could be sidelined for one or two months due to the injury.
Initially, the club's management had no intention of signing a new goalkeeper despite Onana's numerous mistakes. However, the situation may now change due to his injury.
Last season, Onana played 50 matches, conceded 65 goals, and kept 11 clean sheets.
United reached the Europa League final and finished 15th in the Premier League standings. Onana’s market value is estimated at €25 million.
The club is now expected to reconsider its goalkeeping options following the injury. Read 'Zamin' on Telegram!
