After the match of the 16th round of the Super League between "Neftchi" and "Bunyodkor" (1:2), Neftchi head coach Vitaliy Levchenko spoke in detail at the press conference about the main problems facing the team and future plans, according to local sources.
— We accepted a very tough defeat. We achieved great superiority on the field, but in the end, losing is a painful situation for the team, — said the coach. — I would like to note that “Bunyodkor” acted very patiently and tirelessly in defense during both halves. We realized that we need to work on defensive mistakes and the lack of accuracy in attack. Especially, we plan to focus more on the shortcomings of the defensive line and increase accuracy in scoring goals.
The coach gave a clear answer about leaving Farrukh Saipiev on the bench and not in the starting lineup: — There is natural competition in the team. That is why Saipiev was benched. This decision depends on the position: Alisher Odilov is an attacking winger midfielder, and Farrukh plays in defense.
