Artur Guliev won the gold medal at the JM in Milan

Uzbekistani canoeist Artur Guliev won the gold medal at the Canoe and Kayak World Championship held in Milan, reports Kursiv media site.

He completed the 200-meter distance in 38.6 seconds to achieve victory. The second place was taken by Spanish canoeist Pablo Grana, and the third place was awarded to Sergey Svinaryov from Russia, who participated under a neutral flag.

This is not the first gold medal for the Uzbek representative at the world's largest competitions. In the summer of 2023, he also took first place in Germany in the 200-meter event with a time of 38.7 seconds.
