The U-20 World Wrestling Championship, held in the city of Samomov, Bulgaria, continues with the successful participation of Uzbekistan’s youth national team. Every day, our young wrestlers delight fans with new achievements.
In the latest bouts, two of our athletes climbed the podium, proudly raising the flag of our homeland.
In the 72 kg weight category, talented wrestler Ahmad Qodirov reached the final. After intense and challenging matches, he claimed the silver medal. This result placed him among the strongest young athletes.
Meanwhile, in the 67 kg category, Fayozbek Eshmirzayev also demonstrated skill and determination. He put up a worthy fight against all opponents and secured the bronze medal. This triumph is another sign of the progress of Uzbek sport.
According to the Uzbekistan National Olympic Committee, the youth national team intends to continue its participation in the championship with even higher goals.
Fans, in turn, are eagerly awaiting new victories from our young wrestlers. The tournament in Samomov has once again showcased the strength of the Uzbek wrestling school to the world.
