In the capital of Jordan, Amman, the prestigious «Asian Cup 2025» judo tournament among cadets and juniors is continuing with intense contests. According to the press service of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation, the winners and prize-winners among cadets were determined in the first two days, and since yesterday the representatives of the junior category have entered the tatami.
The pleasing fact is that three talented judokas from our country took part in this stage, and all of them were awarded medals. This result was noted as an important achievement not only for the athletes themselves but also for the Uzbek judo school.
Our national team member Inoyat Telmanov, in the -73 kg weight category, confidently defeated all his rivals and became the absolute champion of the «Amman Junior Asian Cup». His victory was a pleasant gift for judo enthusiasts.
In addition, Azizbek Himmatov (-66 kg) and Kamron Abdurazzoqov (-73 kg) also climbed onto the podium. Both athletes finished the tournament with bronze medals. Abdurazzoqov’s result is particularly remarkable, as two days earlier he had won a silver medal in the cadet competition.
Thus, at the major tournament in Amman, our young judokas simultaneously achieved a championship and two bronzes, worthily defending the honor of our country. Fans, in turn, are eagerly awaiting new victories in the coming days.
