As you know, the World Boxing Championship among adults is being held for the first time in Liverpool, England, under the auspices of World Boxing. This prestigious competition not only opens a new historical page in world boxing, but also creates great opportunities for Uzbek athletes.
Our compatriot Abdumalik Khalokov, who entered the ring as part of this year's championship, fought against Mehmethan Çinar from Turkey in the -60 kg weight category. In a very strong and intense fight, the Uzbek boxer showed a great advantage and won by unanimous decision of the judges with a score of 5:0.
Khalokov's skillful moves and accurate shots left his opponent practically without a chance. During the fight, he fully demonstrated his experience and technical superiority. Thus, he advanced to the next stage and took another step on the path to the championship.
