Draw date for U-23 AFC U-23 Cup finals announced

The Asian Football Confederation has announced the date of the draw for the final stage of the U-23 Asian Cup, which will be hosted by Saudi Arabia from January 7 to 25, 2026.

According to official information, the draw ceremony will take place on October 2, 2025, at 12:00 Tashkent time in Kuala Lumpur.

Teams were divided into 4 pots based on the results of the last three Asian Cups (Thailand-2020, Uzbekistan-2022, and Qatar-2024). The Uzbekistan U-23 national team was placed in Pot 1.

• Saudi Arabia (tournament host)

• Uzbekistan

• Japan

• Iraq

Pot 2:

• South Korea

• Vietnam

• Australia

• Qatar

Pot 3:

• Thailand

• Jordan

• UAE

• Iran

Pot 4:

• China

• Syria

• Kyrgyzstan

• Lebanon

The tournament will consist of the group stage, quarter-finals, semi-finals, third-place match, and the final.
