The semi-final matches of the World Boxing Championship, taking place in Liverpool, England, are in full swing. Abdumalik Khalokov, representing our national team in the 60 kg weight category, competed fiercely against his Japanese opponent Shunsuke Kitamoto for a place in the final.
The first round of the fight began with the dominance of the representative of our country. Each referee evaluated Khalokov's powerful shots and dominant movement, awarding him winning points in the first half. In this situation, no matter how hard the Japanese boxer tried, he seemed weak in the face of Abdumalik's experience and technique.
But in the middle of the second round, events took an unexpected turn - Khalokov's forehead cracked. Due to the increasing bleeding, a doctor was called to the ring, and considering the danger, he decided to stop the fight. Nevertheless, based on the results of two rounds, the judges made a unanimous decision: the result was recorded 5:0 in favor of the representative of our country (20:18, 20:18, 20:18, 20:18, 20:18).
Thus, in a tough and intense match, Khalokov performed bravely and secured his place in the final. Now he will compete for the gold medal in the decisive battle for our country.
