The 2025 World Boxing Championship continues in Liverpool, England, and today, September 13, the semifinal bouts will take place. This stage is one of the most decisive parts of the tournament and carries huge importance for our athletes.

It should be recalled that yesterday, in the quarterfinals, Nigina Uktamova, Sitora Turdibekova, Oltinoy Sotimbaeva, Humorabonu Mamajonova, Mirazizbek Mirzaxalilov and Shavkatjon Boltaev were defeated and ended their participation in the tournament. On Friday, Shodiyor Melikuziyev also finished his campaign.
For reference: this World Championship among adults, held for the first time under the auspices of World Boxing, is of historic importance for Uzbekistan. After yesterday’s bouts, the national team has already secured 11 medals, giving them strong chances to lead the overall medal tally.
