From October 2-11, 2025, the World Weightlifting Championships will be held in Forde, Norway. More than 800 athletes from more than 100 countries will compete for medals.
The Uzbekistan national team will also participate in the prestigious championship with its strongest athletes. Among them are Olympic champions Akbar Juraev and Ruslan Nurudinov.
Both athletes will compete in the same weight category - 110 kg. The competitions in this weight class will be held on October 10. Our athletes are scheduled to compete at 10:30 PM Uzbekistan time.
The public expects high results from them. In particular, the fact that two strong athletes, Nurudinov and Jo'rayev, compete in the same weight category is generating great interest among boxers and athletics fans.
