Manchester City's top scorer, Erling Haaland, scored the winning goal in an away match in London. The Norwegian forward stated that he was prompted to open the scoring by defender Sepp van den Berg's decisive play.
After the argument, Haaland said: in the first minutes, Van den Berg constantly pressured him, pushed him, and called for physical struggle. "At that moment, I said to myself, 'Alright, alright, let's go,' and replied. "This is a truly elite goal for me - one of my favorites," he said.
The striker noted that he felt slight fatigue before the game, but immediately after the start, he was "awakened" by the opponent's aggressive movements: "He inspired me - that's why he deserves praise, because it was he who "forced" me to score," Haaland said with a smile.
