At the Portugal Football Globes event held at the Portugal National Arena (Oeiras), An Nasr forward, 40-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, was awarded a special Globo Prestígio award for his twenty-two years of service to the national team. At the ceremony, the winners of 12 nominations in football, futsal, and beach soccer were announced.
Ronaldo's unique record for the national team was once again recognized: he represented Portugal in 223 matches and managed to score 141 goals. His achievements in major tournaments were also highlighted - he is the Euro 2016 champion, as well as a two-time Nations League champion.
For a skilled sniper, this award is not only personal recognition, but also a valuable assessment of many years of hard work and resilience, inspiring an entire generation. The Portuguese football community once again demonstrated their voice, love, and respect for their captain.
