Turkey achieved a major victory over Georgia

In the World Cup qualifiers, within group “E”, the Turkish national team faced Georgia in Ankara and secured a convincing 4-1 victory.

Goals for Turkey:
• Kenan Yildiz – 14’
• Merih Demiral – 22’ and 52’
• Yunus Akgün – 35’

Georgia responded with one goal in the 64th minute by Giorgi Kochorashvili.

Although Georgia had more ball possession, Turkey demonstrated a much more active and efficient performance:
