PSV and Napoli played each other in the third round of the Champions League, on October 21, 2025, at the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven. In the match, PSV defeated their opponent 6-2.

In the second half, PSV consolidated their dominance. In the 54th minute, Denis Man scored from close range. In the 76th minute, Napoli player Lorenzo Lukka received a straight red card for protesting the referee. In the 80th minute, Denis Man scored once again, bringing the score to 4-1.
Near the end of the game, both teams scored again. In the 86th minute, McTominay reduced the deficit. However, PSV brought the final score to 6-2 with goals from players Ricardo Pepi and Kauhayb Driaueh. Following this result, PSV sits in 11th place with 4 points.
Napoli, on the other hand, are one point behind.
