The Spanish La Liga has announced the list of nominees for October's Manager of the Month award. The list includes Xabi Alonso from Real, Manuel Pellegrini from Betis and Inigo Perez from Rayo Vallecano.
The Real team is currently in first place in the championship standings and has collected 24 points from nine rounds. Betis is in fifth place, with 16 points. Rayo Vallecano, after their last two victories, has accumulated 11 points and has risen to 11th place in the table.
In October, there will be another full round held in the Spanish La Liga. In this round, the El Clásico match between Real and Barcelona will take place.
Every month, the best manager is determined in La Liga, and this award is based on the results of the managers throughout the season. The result of El Clásico is expected to influence both the tournament table and the managers’ ratings.
