"Manchester City" head coach Josep Guardiola made a humorous comment about the race for the English Premier League title. He expressed his opinion at a press conference.
This was reported by Euro-football.ru. Guardiola, responding to assessments at the start of the season, said that after two or three games his team had been ruled out of the championship race.
According to him, now "Liverpool" is also being overlooked. Guardiola emphasized that experts, analysts, and former footballers are quick to decide who will be champion after just five rounds.
He, however, stated that it takes at least 10-15 rounds to fully understand the situation. The head coach said that "Liverpool" and "Arsenal" will be in the fight for the title.
He also added that other teams will participate in this race. Guardiola expressed hope that "Manchester City" will also compete for the championship.
"Manchester City" will play away against "Aston Villa" on Sunday, October 26. The club continues to compete for the top places in the Premier League standings.
