Juventus’ results continue to decline. Turin's “black-and-white” team suffered another defeat in Italy’s Serie A against “Lazio”.
In the 9th minute of the match, Juventus defender Jonathan David made an inaccurate pass in his own penalty area. Lazio's player Toma Basic received the ball, approached the opponent’s penalty area, and delivered a precise shot on goal from 20 meters.
During the shot, the ball touched Manuel Locatelli’s foot, changed direction, and ended up in the right bottom corner of the goal. Thus, the score became 1:0.
Later, Juventus tried several times to equalize. For example, Francisco Conceição passed the ball into the opponent’s penalty area, and Andrea Cambiaso targeted the goal with one shot.
However, the ball went just wide of the post. In the second half, Lazio’s Boulaye Dia continued the attack from the right wing, entered the penalty area, and shot at the lower corner.
The goalkeeper successfully saved this shot. At the same time, Juventus continued to capitalize on their chances.
However, Lazio players, including Adam Marušić and Mattéo Guendouzi, with their defensive actions, did not give the opponent any opportunities. At the end of the game, Juventus lost by a score of 1:0.
This is Turin’s third consecutive defeat, and the team is currently in seventh place in the standings with 12 points. Lazio, despite having one point less, is showing good performance.
