Barcelona midfielder Gavi supported his teammates after their 1-2 defeat to Real Madrid at El Clásico. The 21-year-old couldn't participate in the game because he was recovering from a knee injury.
"I'm always with you, I'm ready to sacrifice my life," the midfielder wrote on social media and shared a photo of Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu stadium. Fermin Lopez scored the only goal for the Catalans in the 38th minute.
Real Madrid's victory was secured by goals scored by Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham in the 22nd and 43rd minutes, respectively. Barcelona, led by Hans-Dieter Flick, currently sits in second place in the La Liga table with 22 points after 10 rounds, five points behind leaders Real Madrid.
