Van de Ven is taking the lead

Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank shared his thoughts on defender Micky van de Ven's form this season. “I think he is really continuing to develop and making big strides.

Overall, I am very pleased with him. He is taking on leadership responsibilities more and more, and in defense he is also playing better by choosing more accurate positions along with his speed.

This makes me very happy,” said Frank, as quoted by The Spurs Express. This season, 24-year-old van de Ven has played in 13 matches in all competitions, scoring 5 goals.
