Kostansa: Russia could have qualified for the World Cup

“Krylya Sovetov” midfielder Fernando Kostanza commented on the possibility of a friendly match between the Russian national team and the Brazil national team. According to the footballer, despite the fact that there are strong players in the Russian Premier League (RPL), the Brazilians would have defeated the Russians.

“It seems to me that if Russia had participated in the qualifying tournaments, it could have reached the World Cup. But Brazilians are stronger and I hope they will become champions at the 2026 World Cup,” Kostanza said in an interview with “RB Sport”.
