Barcelona's young striker, Lamin Yamal, didn't say "let's meet outside" to Dani Carvajal after the famous El Clásico match against Real Madrid (1-2) in the 10th round of La Liga. This was reported by Barca Universal, citing Cadena SER journalist Santi Ovalle.
According to reports, at the end of the match, Real Madrid defender Carvajal pointed to Yamal and reprimanded him, saying, "You're talking too much." This situation also attracted the attention of many people through television. Later, some media outlets reported that Yamal allegedly responded by saying "let's meet outside."
However, journalist Santi Ovalle denied the news. According to him, the 18-year-old has not uttered any threatening or aggressive words against Carvajal. "Lamin simply said to him, 'See you in the return game.' There was no harsh or aggressive response," Ovalle stated.
Yamal's reaction was also positively received by fans. Despite his young age, the young player's cool-headed and respectful demeanor was seen as a source of pride for Barcelona fans.
As a reminder, 18-year-old Lamin Yamal is Barcelona's youngest first-team player and also holds the record for the youngest player in the history of the Spanish national team. In the game at El Clásico, he participated in several dangerous attacks and put serious pressure on the opponent's defenders.
Dani Carvajal, as an experienced Real Madrid captain, is known for his harsh treatment of opponents during matches. However, in this situation, it became clear that the conversation with young Yamal did not go beyond the scope of the passionate debate on the field.
Journalists noted that no official statement was made by clubs or players following the incident. This circumstance itself shows that the event was exaggerated by the media.
Thus, Lamin Yamal's behavior once again demonstrated that he is developing as a professional and cultured footballer. Barcelona, on the other hand, sees the young talent's composure as a positive sign for future success on the big field.
