Liverpool forward named the best striker in history


The French forward Hugo Ekitike, who transferred to Liverpool in the summer transfer window, named the greatest striker in football history. "It’s Karim Benzema.

I consider him the best striker in history," Ekitike is quoted as saying by ESPN. Benzema is a Ballon d'Or winner.

He gained fame in Europe during his long career at Real Madrid. Currently, the 37-year-old forward is playing for Al-Ittihad in the Saudi Arabian league.

His current contract is expected to end at the end of next June. The player's transfer value is estimated at 7 million euros.
