Madrid's "Real" goalkeeper Andrey Lunin spoke about his teammates' reaction to the red card incident in the match against "Barcelona". The goalkeeper was given a straight red card in added time for shouting "Sit down" at the Catalans’ substitute players.
"There was no red card in that episode. The club appealed.
They only praised me," Lunin said in an interview with local social media. It should be noted that the footballer spent the entire match on the bench.
"Real" defeated "Barcelona" with a score of 2:1. The match was also memorable for Vinicius showing his dissatisfaction when he was substituted.
Later, Madrid’s head coach Xabi Alonso announced that the issue had been resolved.
