Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri shared his thoughts after the Serie A match against Roma. In this match, Milan won with a score of 1:0.
The only goal of the match was scored by Strahinja Pavlovic in the 39th minute. Allegri commented on the match as follows: "In the first 35 minutes, Roma deserved to go ahead – there is no doubt about it.
We did almost everything wrong. The problem was the very high pressing from Roma – we weren't able to counter that.
It became a little bit easier to play after the goal was scored. In the second half, our team went out onto the pitch with the right attitude and managed to increase their advantage."
"After this victory, Milan caught up to Roma and Inter in terms of points – all of them now have 21 points.
In the league table, Napoli currently holds first place with 22 points.
