
A football festival has begun in Qatar - the FIFA U-17 World Cup has officially kicked off. The first day of the World Cup, considered the most prestigious competition for the younger generation of world football, has already taken place.
On the first day of the competition, participants of groups "A," "B," "C," and "D" took to the field. The matches of the first round were not only full of goals, but also memorable for some unexpected results.
Italy started with a win, Qatar competed as hosts
In the opening match of Group A, the host team, Qatar, played against Italy. The young Azzurri secured three crucial points thanks to a single goal. This victory was a good start for Italy, while Qatar missed the opportunity despite playing well.
