
A very sad event occurred in the Serbian championship. Radnički 1923 head coach Mladen Žižović died of heart failure during the match against Mladost.
The tragedy occurred in the 22nd minute of a match in the 14th round. At the time, the score was 2-0 for the away team, but the 44-year-old coach's condition deteriorated sharply. Medical workers immediately rushed to the scene to provide assistance, he was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, but, unfortunately, the doctors could not find a way to save his life.

The referees who officiated the match temporarily suspended the match after the incident. A few minutes later, members of the Radnički 1923 team and the Football Federation officially confirmed the news of the coach's death.
After that, the match was canceled without completion. The fans, players, and coaches gathered at the stadium remained silent as a sign of respect.
Mladen Žižović was known not only in Serbia, but also in the Balkan region as a conscientious specialist. He began his career as a footballer, later switched to coaching, and in recent years managed Radnički 1923.
Under his leadership, the team consistently played in the national championship and paid great attention to youth development.
The Serbian Football Federation issued an official statement expressing its deepest condolences to Mladen Žižović's family, relatives, and team. The Federation's statement includes the following words:
"Mladen was not only a good coach, but also a sincere person. We will always remember his hard work and love for football. The football family will never forget him."
Fans are expressing gratitude and condolences in memory of Žižović on social media. Many remember him as one of the hardworking mentors of his time.
