The head coach of Norway's "Bodø/Glimt" club, Kjetil Knutsen, shared his thoughts after the Champions League match against "Monaco." In the fourth matchday of the tournament, "Bodø/Glimt" lost to their opponents with a score of 0:1.
"We knew we were playing against a very strong club. They are excellent as a team, and they also have many players with high individual skills.
We created enough chances to win, but unfortunately, we weren't successful enough in converting them into goals. This is a very important factor in football," the coach said in his interview with the UEFA website.
Knutsen did not want to give a definitive opinion about the possibility of advancing to the playoff stage of the tournament. "I don't know, and right now that's not important.
At the moment, we are learning. I feel that we are competitive in every match, and that is the most important thing for me.
I hope that in the new season we will have the opportunity to play in the Champions League or Europa League and take new steps," he said. The Norwegian club is currently in 27th place in the tournament standings with 2 points, while "Monaco" is in 18th place with 5 points.
