Slot Virts's expectations revealed

Liverpool head coach Arne Slot shared his thoughts about attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz. "Florian can play in several positions.

He can play on the left wing – that is exactly where he played almost always at Bayer under Xabi Alonso. Before that, he mostly operated in the ‘number ten’ position.

The important thing here is not his position, but rather that he is with the ball in the most dangerous zones. We want him to be closer to the penalty area – either in the center, or moving a little to the left or right, he needs to create as many goal-scoring opportunities as possible," Slot stated at the press conference.
