Devoted Uzbek football figure Tulyagan Isakov has passed away


The press service of the Uzbekistan Football Association has expressed condolences in connection with the passing of the famous footballer and coach Tulyagan Isakov. It was reported that Tulyagan Isakov, born in 1949, has passed away.

He served as the chairman of the Veterans' Council of the Uzbekistan Football Association, a member of the Coaches' Council, and as an honored youth coach in the country. The association expressed its deepest sympathy to the family and loved ones of the deceased.

Tulyagan Isakov was a dedicated individual who devoted his life to Uzbek football. As a player, he honorably represented the "Pakhtakor" team for 13 seasons, having appeared in a total of 252 matches and scoring 52 goals.

During his coaching career, he managed the teams "Pakhtakor", "Zarafshan", and "Surkhan". In recent years, as the head of the association’s Veterans' Council, he made a worthy contribution to the development and popularization of football in the country.

Isakov also paid great attention to nurturing the younger generation in the spirit of love for sports and patriotism.
