The best chance of the first half was created by the hosts: Nicolas Capaldo directed a cross from Georgi Gocholeishvili towards the goal with a header, but the ball hit the post and went out. In the 64th minute, Nico Schlotterbeck passed the ball to Carney Chukwuemeka, who opened the scoring with a strike – 0:1.
However, in the seven added minutes, Ransford Königsdörffer equalized with a header – 1:1. "Borussia" remains in third place in the tournament standings, while "Hamburg" stays in 12th position.
