Former Real Madrid head coach Zinedine Zidane has announced his imminent return to coaching. The French specialist managed Real Madrid from 2016 to 2021, leaving a memorable mark with remarkable achievements.
During his tenure, he led the team to win the Spanish league title twice, the UEFA Champions League three times, the UEFA Super Cup twice, and the FIFA Club World Cup once.
"I am still a coach, and I will work again. Soon, very soon, I will return to work," the 53-year-old Zidane said in an interview with Le Parisien. In France, speculation about Zidane taking over as the head coach of the French national team has been circulating for a long time.
Under the current coach Didier Deschamps, the team has won the World Cup and secured the tournament's silver medals, but their recent results have started to decline.
