De Jong Highlights Pedri's Importance

Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong shared his thoughts about his teammate Pedri. The Spanish player is continuing his recovery from an injury, which has caused him to miss Barcelona’s last three matches.

"I don’t think anyone can replace Pedri. There are no other players in our squad with his style.

He is very talented, but there’s no need to talk too much about him right now—it would only create additional pressure for him," de Jong said in an interview with the Spanish media. The 22-year-old Pedri has played in 13 matches this season, scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists.
