In the summer of 2026, the biggest celebration of the football world - the World Cup - will begin. This time, the world-class competition will be held simultaneously in three countries: the USA, Canada, and Mexico. Since this format is being used for the first time, the interest, demand, and competition for the World Cup are much higher than before.
These days, the qualifying rounds are in full swing in various regions. In particular, the European continent, as always, is characterized by fierce competition, dramatic debates, and unexpected results. After the next round of qualification, five more national teams officially decided to qualify for the World Cup.
The countries that received the invitation are: Switzerland, Spain, Scotland, Austria, and Belgium.
Each of these teams proved their strength in the past matches, showed skill against major opponents, and secured their place. As can be seen, 39 out of 48 places have already found their owners. For the nine vacant spots, a very intense, passionate, and intriguing battle awaits. The national teams of Asia, Africa, South America, and Europe are making every effort to secure these places.
As the qualifying rounds conclude, the overall picture ahead of the World Cup becomes clearer. For every football fan, the summer of 2026 will undoubtedly be filled with unforgettable, exciting, and highly responsible moments.
