Aleksandr Golovin: Kuzyaev's Failure at Le Havre Is Not His Fault

Between 2023 and 2025, midfielder Daler Kuzyaev represented "Le Havre" but was unable to fully showcase his abilities in the team. In this regard, AS Monaco player Aleksandr Golovin shared his thoughts.

According to Golovin, Kuzyaev's inability to perform at his best at "Le Havre" was not his fault, attributing it to the team's defensive playing style. "I wouldn't call it his failure – it's a failure of the team.

It's not Kuzyaev's fault because the team played a style of football that did not suit his game. They played very defensively," Golovin said in an interview with "Match TV."

Golovin also highlighted Daler Kuzyaev's creative abilities but noted that "Le Havre" prioritized defensive football. During his time at "Le Havre," Daler Kuzyaev participated in 46 matches, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
