
The Turkish national team drew their final match of the 2026 World Cup qualification round in Spain. However, during the match, an incident occurred where the Turkish players’ dressing room was looted.
According to Spain's Marca publication, unidentified individuals stole luxury wristwatches valued at 200,000 euros and rings worth an additional 60,000 euros. The total loss exceeded 300,000 euros.
The Turkish Football Federation immediately filed an official complaint with the local authorities regarding the matter. Police swiftly launched an investigation and managed to apprehend one of the culprits.
Most importantly, the stolen items were recovered and returned to their owners. Currently, law enforcement is investigating how the theft was carried out and whether stadium staff were involved in the incident.
