Ugo Ekitike: I Am Working to Improve My Performance

"Liverpool" striker Hugo Ekitike shared his thoughts on his current athletic form. The club's expensive new player has managed to score only one goal in the last eight matches.

"I feel like I am improving. Although I haven’t been able to score many goals yet, I have succeeded in enhancing certain aspects of my game.

The most important thing is to keep working on myself, and that is happening. I am confident that results will not take too long," the 23-year-old footballer said in an interview with the English press.

"Liverpool" acquired Hugo Ekitike last summer from Frankfurt's "Eintracht" club for €95 million. On Saturday, Arne Slot's team will host Nottingham Forest at home as part of the English Premier League.
