Gattuso Suggests Halting Serie A for Italy National Team

Italy's national football team head coach Gennaro Gattuso has proposed suspending Serie A matches during the playoffs. He emphasized that this decision could help the national team perform better and allow fans to focus their support more effectively.

"I hope that we are given a little time to rest. The reality is that while 11 rounds have already been played, I only get to meet the players around the 30th round.

The national team needs more time for cohesion. I want to meet the players, have a conversation over a cup of tea, and discuss important matters.

This particularly applies to players who are playing abroad," Gattuso stated in an interview with the website derbyderbyderby.it. The Italian national team is scheduled to play against Northern Ireland first.
