Niko Kovach, head coach of Borussia Dortmund, shared his thoughts on the upcoming match against Stuttgart. The Bundesliga's Matchday 11 will take place on November 22, starting at 5:30 PM Moscow time.
"All players who were called up for their national teams have returned in good condition. Those who stayed here had quality training sessions," Kovach said in an interview with the club's official website.
"Sebastian Hoeneß's achievements at Stuttgart are incredible. He managed to save the team from the risk of relegation and solidify their position in the league.
Winning the Cup, playing in the Champions League — all of this has elevated him to the status of a model coach in German football," Kovach added. "This match is extremely important for us.
We want to secure our position among the Bundesliga leaders. Our aim is to enter the winter break as frontrunners, advance to the next stage in the Cup, and collect more points in the Champions League." Currently, Borussia Dortmund is in third place, while Stuttgart sits in fourth.
Both teams have amassed 21 points.
