The match between Udinese and Bologna in the Italian Championship was not as dramatic as expected. Although the game was not full of exciting moments, there was a clear winner.
At the end of the first half, Udinese defender Kingsley Ehizibue committed a handball inside the penalty area, prompting the referee to award a penalty. Bologna player Riccardo Orsolini took the penalty kick but the goalkeeper managed to save it and even denied any follow-up attempt.
In the 54th minute of the second half, Orsolini corrected his earlier mistake by delivering a decisive assist, which allowed Tommaso Pobega to open the scoring. Just a few minutes later, the home team's goalkeeper made an error, handing the ball to Pobega, who capitalized on the mistake to make it 2-0.
Bologna's Giovanni Fabbian missed another clear opportunity to score, failing to convert from a favorable position. In the final minutes, Thijs Dallinga intercepted the ball and Federico Bernardeschi concluded the match with a goal.
Final score: 0-3. Bologna is now sharing the lead in the standings with Inter and Roma, while Udinese is ranked 9th.
