Manchester City central defender Ruben Dias shared his thoughts following the Premier League match against Newcastle, which ended in a 2-1 defeat. The Portuguese footballer scored the only goal for the "Citizens" in the 68th minute.
The hero of the match, however, was Harvey Barnes, whose double secured victory for Newcastle. "Previously, pushing the goalkeeper like that was considered a foul, but now it seems to be allowed.
People might say I'm looking for excuses, but that's not the case. Newcastle played better than us and took advantage of their opportunities effectively.
Still, I would like the rules to be clearer in such situations," Dias told Sky Sports in an interview. "Manchester City" is currently four points behind table leaders Arsenal, although the "Gunners" have a game in hand.
