Barcelona's central defender Eric García has agreed to sign a new contract with the club. According to a report by Mundo Deportivo, the parties have reached a fundamental agreement on the terms of the deal.
The club views Eric García as a crucial player and evaluates him as a potential future captain. The 24-year-old footballer expressed significant interest in extending the contract from the outset of the negotiations and stated he is satisfied with his current position.
He has no plans to leave the club. His current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2026.
