Silvano Martina, the former goalkeeper of Milan's "Inter", denied rumors of a "Nerazzurri" crisis in an interview with "Evro-Futbol.ru". According to him, the derby against "Milan" could have ended differently.
"Inter should not be overly upset by the defeat or look for deep reasons behind it. If Calhanoglu had converted the penalty, the result would have been completely different.
The team is not in any crisis," Martina stated. Earlier, "Inter" suffered a 0-1 defeat in a home game during the Milan derby.
The only goal was scored by Christian Pulisic. In the 74th minute of the match, Hakan Calhanoglu failed to convert a penalty.
After 12 rounds, "Inter" occupies fourth place in the Serie A standings with 24 points. This defeat marked the fourth loss of the 2025/2026 season for the team's head coach, Cristian Chivu.
