The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has issued Cristiano Ronaldo with a one-match actual suspension and a two-match conditional suspension. The decision states that Ronaldo has been placed on a one-year probationary period.
If the star forward commits a similar violation during this period, the conditional suspension will be converted into an actual one. Cristiano Ronaldo will be eligible to participate in Portugal's upcoming official match, as he has already served the actual suspension.
Portugal's next official match is scheduled to take place in June as part of the World Cup. It is worth noting that the 40-year-old Ronaldo received a straight red card in his last match against Ireland for elbowing an opposing player.
