Former renowned footballer Aleksandr Mostovoy shared his impressions of the UEFA Champions League match between Chelsea and Barcelona. In this game, Chelsea secured a convincing 3-0 victory.

According to Mostovoy, the sending off of Ronald Araujo caused him to lose interest in watching the rest of the game. He emphasized that this event significantly reduced Barcelona’s chances of putting up a strong fight against Chelsea.

"After Araujo was sent off, I turned off the broadcast. Everything became quite clear.

In fact, it was already evident that Chelsea had a high chance of winning. However, Araujo's sending off only confirmed my thoughts.

It was obvious that Barcelona wouldn’t achieve anything in this match," said Mostovoy in an interview with "Sovetskiy Sport." This victory allowed Chelsea to accumulate 10 points and secure a position at the top of the Champions League group standings.
