Serbian goalkeeper Milan Mitrovic, a loyal keeper of Jizzakh football who left an indelible mark on the hearts of the team's fans, officially parted ways with Sogdiana. The club's press service released a friendly statement acknowledging the goalkeeper's significant contribution to the team.
The official report notes that Mitrovich has been playing incredibly confidently for the team for seven and a half years. He played an important role in winning the silver medal in the 2021 Super League, becoming a multi-time saviour when the team reached the semi-finals in the AFC Cup, and firmly guarding the goal in a number of decisive matches.
The club's statement says:
"Milan's hard work, loyalty, and dedication hold a special place in the history of our team. Over these years, he has protected not only our goal, but also the trust of millions of fans. On behalf of the team, we express our deep gratitude to him."

- 147 Super League matches, a total of 13,189 minutes on the field;
- Uzbekistan Cup - 15 matches;
- AFC Cup - 6 matches, reaching the semi-finals.
These figures once again confirm how important the goalkeeper has become in Jizzakh football.

According to sources, it is quite possible that Milan Mitrovich will continue his career in Uzbekistan - several clubs really want to sign him.
