Former "Serik Belediyespor" head coach Sergey Yuran revealed that Kurban Berdyev's advice played a significant role in his successful tenure in Turkey. Berdyev, the former head coach of Kazan's "Rubin" club, emphasized the importance of caution when working with Eastern players and advised against making abrupt decisions.
"Sergey, listen more. I know you are an emotional person.
But do not take drastic measures. Handle everything calmly and step by step.
Go on your path, but avoid abruptness on this journey. Agree with everything, but do what you believe is right," Berdyev told Yuran.
Additionally, Berdyev recommended that Yuran communicate more with the experienced players on the team. In an interview with "Sport-Express," Yuran stated that these pieces of advice were 100% effective.
Yuran worked with the "Serik" club for several months, but he left due to a boycott organized by the players and delays in salary payments.
