Emery: The players showed resilience and patience
Unai Emery, head coach of Aston Villa, shared his thoughts following the match against Wolverhampton. In the thirteenth round of the English Championship, his team secured a 1–0 victory.

“It was truly an incredible team effort. The fans gave us their energy in tough moments of the game.

We started the match very well, hit the post, and were in control. However, after the 25th minute, the initiative shifted toward the opponent, and they created several dangerous opportunities,” said Emery in an interview with the club's official website.

“In the second half, we penetrated the opponent's penalty area more and scored a fantastic goal. I am very pleased to see the resilience and patience of my players," he added.

With this victory, Aston Villa now has 24 points, placing them fourth in the league standings. Chelsea also has 24 points, while Manchester City is in third with 25 points.

Arsenal leads the table with 30 points, while Wolverhampton remains at the bottom of the standings with two points.
