Vieri believes Pio is on the right track

Former Italian striker Christian Vieri has urged local journalists not to create unnecessary hype around Inter Milan's new star, Pio Esposito. According to him, the young footballer is developing his career in the right direction.

“I understand his situation very well. The same happened during my time – you score one or two goals, and people immediately start comparing you to great players.

This is absolutely a useless exercise. There is only one way to achieve success – complete dedication, the right mentality, and physical readiness.

I believe Pio is on the right path,” Christian Vieri said in an interview with La Repubblica. It should be noted that Inter is the current runner-up in the Italian championship.
