
Andijan, aiming to achieve high results in the new season, has officially announced its first new transfer. According to the club's press service, a contract has been signed for 27-year-old striker Imeda Ashortia, who played this season for Georgian club Bunyodkor, to join Andijan in 2026.
Ashortya's football career began with the Georgian club Martvili, and then he played for such clubs as "Dila," "Kolkhetti-1913," "Skhinval," "Telavi." He also played for Azerbaijan's Turan Tovuz and Kazakhstan's Shakhtar Donetsk.
Last season, Ashortia played in 33 matches for Bunyodkor, scoring 10 goals and providing 2 assists. Here he made a great contribution to the club with his high achievements. Now, Ashorta's experience is expected to be of great importance for Andijan's new goals.
