Canizares: Courtois Is the Best Goalkeeper

Former goalkeeper of the Spanish national team and Valencia, Santiago Cañizares, shared his opinion about Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who plays for Real Madrid. "Thibaut is the best goalkeeper I have ever seen.

I have no doubt about it. In my opinion, Courtois is one of the best keepers with exceptional qualities.

If we talk about attackers, I could mention players like Cristiano Ronaldo, Messi, Maradona, Mbappé, and Ronaldo," Cañizares told *Mundo Deportivo*. The 33-year-old Belgian footballer joined the "Royal" club in the summer of 2018.

The current contract between Courtois and Real Madrid is set to expire in June 2027. His transfer value is currently estimated at 20 million euros.
